Andrew was a son of Wiliam Henry and Pauline Bannerman. He grew up on a farm in Bruce County, 14th Concession of Culross Township. He enlisted in the 160th Bruce Battalion, along with his older brother William Ernest Bannerman. Later, another brother, Alexander, was drafted into service in 1918. Brother George did not enlist. Andrew is buried in Walkerton Cemetery, Brant Township - Plot # 1097.5 WO8 Section.Sources & Links
