Ed Scott was the son of James Scott and Mary Thompson. He came to Canada, with the aid of the Norval Quebec, YMCA, arriving in Montreal, Quebec, on June 28, 1919. The YMCA participated in assisting the emigration movement of British subjects under the umbrella of The Empire Settlement Act of 1922.Sources & Links
