Notes

Clarence John Stoddart was born in Elderslie Township, Bruce County, Ontario in 1924. In March of 1943, Clarence enlisted in the Navy and he served with the RCNVR on the HMCS Cornwallis. Clarence was killed in action at sea in 1944 when he was nineteen years old.
