On November 25, 1917 the 3rd Labour Battalion was redesignated as the 11th Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops. Served in France for 22 months. Killed in factory accident- caught in shaft. Location at Walkerton Cemetery: Plot # 1357 Row 11 Section N/ESources & Links
