Notes

Victor is the oldest of 15 children. His parents are Joseph and Florence Hodge. He trained in Shilo Manitoba, qualified to become a paratrooper in Machester, England on October 18, 1943, and was in the 1st Canadian Paratroop Battalion, Company B & HQ. He jumped on D Day into Normandy. He jumped in Germany. He was part of the Battle of the Bulge and Operation Varsity. He Served in Belgium, Dieppe, Holland, England, and Germany.
