Notes

Elliott was the son of Crown Attorney, Thomas Dixon and Mary McKay, and husband to Florence M Brocklebank. He served in the 71st Battalion, and while recuperating in England from pleurisy, was for some time with the Dental Corps. In order to return to the fighting, he joined the R.A.F. and volunteered for service in Egypt.
